• 1983
  Year of founding of the company GÜNTER SCHÄFER, Beratung und Organisation. It gives advice to haulage contractors, when using computer systems and distributes its own software for disposition.
• 1990
  Arranging the first orders for transport based on his counselling of companies in the “New
  Bundesländer (former GDR)” Günter Schäfer negotiated first-time transports: grain from Sachsen-Anhalt to Westfalia.
• 1996
  Armin Schäfer becomes a member of staff. The company develops towards a solely agency of freight.
• 2002
  By converting the company into a joint –stock company, the Schäfer Logistik GmbH, the transition from father to son commences.
• 2007
  The offices were moved to new premises in the inner city of
  Wiesbaden
• 2010
  Günter Schäfer terminates his engagement for the company and
  retires at the age of 71.
• 2012
  Certification according to GMP an QS
